Pressing and the last stitch.

A seam is not finished until it is pressed. Steam, a cloth between the iron and the lace, and a weight to set the line while it cools.

Then the label goes in, the thread is cut, and the piece is checked once more against the sample.

It is folded in tissue, not hung, so it arrives the way it left.
