Notte & Noir is a fashion house based in London. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page. If you have any question about it, write to us at office@nottenoir.com.

What we collect

When you join our list we keep your first name, your surname if you give it, your email address, the date and the page on which you joined, the wording you agreed to, and the internet address (IP) you joined from, as a record of your consent.

When you write to us through the contact form we receive your name, your email address, the topic you chose and your message.

We do not buy or sell personal data, we do not use advertising trackers on this website, and our emails do not track whether or when you open them.

Why we use it

• The list: to send you news from the house: the launch, first looks, restocks, waitlist openings and a monthly letter. We do this because you asked us to (your consent). You can withdraw it at any time.
• Your messages: to read and answer them, and to keep a record of our conversation. We do this because it is in our legitimate interest to reply to people who contact us.

Leaving the list

Every email we send has an Unsubscribe link at the foot. One click takes you off the list straight away. You can also reply to any email or write to office@nottenoir.com. When you leave, we keep only your email address and the date you left, so that we never write to you again by mistake. Ask us and we will delete that too.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and our email:

• Hostinger hosts this website and the list of subscribers.
• Google Workspace carries our email, including the emails we send to the list.
• FormSubmit may deliver a form to our inbox if our own server is briefly unavailable.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this website, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, they protect it with the safeguards required by UK data protection law. Our shop at nottenoir.co.uk runs on Shopify and has its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your place on the list until you unsubscribe. We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to help you, and for no more than two years after our last exchange.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Write to office@nottenoir.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies for visitors. It remembers nothing about you between visits.
