Cutting the first run.

Chalk, weights, shears. The pattern is traced onto the cloth and every size of the first run is cut from the same length, so the black matches across all of it.

We cut twenty of each size and no more. When your size is reserved on the collection page, this is the table it goes on.

Offcuts are kept for the cuffs and bindings, so nothing of the good cloth is wasted.
